Chief Executive

Stuart is responsible for the overall running of the organisation from a financial, marketing and business development perspective. He meets regularly with important clients from the Classical sector and is also the main face of EMFEB to the corporate market. Stuart also devises exciting cross-genre projects through his event industry links with physical performing artists of an International calibre. >> READ MORE



Owen Bourne
Creative Director Chair of Composition -
Owen is responsible for devising innovative creative projects and uncovering neglected repertoire. He is also a founding member. Owen manages the contemporary composers who work with EMFEB and works closely with Benjamin Ellin and Stuart Every on the artistic landscape of the organisation. His music is regularly fielded by EMFEB's ensembles as an artistic 'calling card'. >> READ MORE



Cameron Todd
Orchestral Manager-
Cameron is solely in charge of fixing all necessary orchestral players for each event that EMFEB delivers. He is also responsible for delivering music and contracts to all musicians pre-concert. Cameron works closely with the musical director on formulating a musical team of the highest quality. As principal trumpet his contribution as both a performer and a member of the management team is invaluable.




Benjamin Ellin
Artistic Director Principal Conductor

Benjamin is responsible for the overall artistic direction of EMFEB and is a founding member. He ensures that the passions and ethos of EMFEB reach the right people, recruits major patrons, devises innovative projects and is also the principal conductor. In addition, he unifies all the personnel involved including soloists, performers, administration staff, the board of Trustees and expert consultants from a variety of fields. >> READ MORE



Sam Jefferys
Artist in Association -
This post is a unique one on the London Orchestral Scene. Sam is responsible for working closely with Owen Bourne and Benjamin Ellin on those aspects of projects involving a painted visual element. This has involved devising and co-leading art workshops for exhibited work by amateurs and enthusiasts from communities/ schools, and in the close collaborative elements of EMFEB's unique contemporary projects. Anna Boyd - Events Manager

Anna brings a wealth of corporate events experience to the role of managing the larger EMFEB events and co-ordinating publicity and press campaigns within the organisation.

Composers in Residence:
EMFEB is currently proud to have a team of four Composers in Residence. They were shortlisted from an international 'call for works' and were handpicked by a panel of principal players from the orchestra. Their creative association ensures a stream of original premieres.
